Daniel A. Herriman, CMCA, AMS

President & CEO

Dan Herriman serves as President and CEO of Herriman & Associates, Inc. and is responsible for directing the firm’s overall business and community association management activities.  In recent years, Dan has focused on building and enhancing the services of Herriman & Associates, Inc.

After graduating from University of Michigan, Dan became a partner and principal in the public accounting firm of Loiselle & Herriman in 1978.  They negotiated their first property management contract in 1984 and Dan’s leadership in property management led to additional contracts.  When the principals mutually dissolved that company in 1997, Dan founded Herriman & Associates, Inc. to continue and expand the condominium management business.  His professional designations now include Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and Association Management Specialist (AMS).

Dan currently serves on the boards of CAI-Michigan, the state chapter of Community Associations Institute, Community Financial Members Federal Credit Union, The Salvation Army (serving Canton, Plymouth and Northville), The Wilcox Foundation and Community Foundation of Plymouth.  He has served on Plymouth Township Board of Review and was appointed to fill a vacancy on Plymouth Township Board of Trustees.  Dan enjoys family activities and scuba diving.


Beverly A. Ellis 

Director of Operations

Beverly joined the company in 1995 and serves as Director of Operations.  She works “behind-the scenes” developing new programs & operational procedures.  She is responsible for human resources, staff development & training, computer & information systems, company accounting and general operations.

Bev worked 20-plus years in bank management in a number of progressive positions. Her experience includes developing training & operational procedures, managing a regional retail bank operations center and she was a leader in several reengineering programs for Michigan National Bank. Following her banking career, she was newsletter editor and conference coordinator for a Michigan banking association.

Bev has served as a director of her Plymouth condominium association, chairman of CAI-Michigan’s Annual Conference, president of Central East Lansing Business Association, founder and chairman of East Lansing Art Festival and director of Plymouth Newcomers Club.  She is an avid reader and enjoys travel and playing Mah Jongg.


Mary Ann Prchlik, CMCA

Accounting Manager

Mary Ann joined Herriman & Associates, Inc. in 1987.  Mary Ann is responsible for all association accounting functions – from bill payment to financial statements and helps facilitate annual CPA audits/reviews.

After graduating from University of Michigan Business School, she worked as an accounting manager for several years before joining the company.  Her experience includes full-accrual corporate accounting and she has participated in several accounting software conversion projects.  She holds the professional designation of Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA).

Mary Ann has served on the boards of the local library district, Plymouth-Canton Education Excellence Foundation and the Plymouth Historical Society.  She is currently active in a number of local community organizations. She enjoys family activities and reading.



David J. Chaundy, CMCA, AMS

Community Association Manager

David joined Herriman & Associates, Inc. in 1999.  His responsibilities include managing and administering new projects and contract management, managing on-site personnel and acting as liaison with community association boards.

David’s background includes work in sales & training and management of a hotel’s business conference center.  For seven years, he was general manager of a landscape company coordinating projects with developers, general contractors, subcontractors and construction management companies and overseeing budgeting, forecasting & bidding projects.  He holds the professional designations of Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and Association Management Specialist (AMS).

David currently serves on the Planning Commission and Building Authority for the City of Brighton and is Chairman of CAI-Michigan’s Membership Committee.  He previously served on the City of Brighton’s Zoning Board of Appeals.  He actively participates in other community service organizations and enjoys family activities, gardening and fishing.


Shirley A. McClure

Community Association Manager

Shirley joined the company in 2000.  Her responsibilities are varied and include acting as liaison with community association boards, administering contract management and managing on-site personnel.

Shirley has extensive experience in property management, including several years as a Community Association Manager prior to joining our firm.  Her experience also includes residential property leasing, coordinating & scheduling maintenance work and management of on-site personnel. 

Shirley has served on her Northville condominium association board of directors.  She enjoys horseback riding and the daily pleasures of dog ownership.


Sarah B. Toccalino, CMCA, AMS

Community Association Manager

Sarah joined Herriman & Associates, Inc. in November 2004.  Her responsibilities include managing and administering new projects and contract maintenance services, supervising on-site personnel and acting as liaison between community association boards of directors, attorneys, accountants and other service professionals serving the communities' needs.

Sarah has several years of community association management experience with residential properties.   She holds the professional designations of Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and Association Management Specialist (AMS).

Sarah currently volunteers to serve as a committee member for CAI-Michigan events.  She enjoys recreational sports such as volleyball and softball.


Kathleen D. Koran

Community Association Manager

Kathleen joined Herriman & Associates, Inc. in 2002 as an on-site Community Manager for a single large community.  In January 2005 she began managing a portfolio of community associations as a Community Association Manager.  Her responsibilities include acting as liaison with community association boards of directors, performing contract management and managing on site personnel.

Kathleen’s property management experience began in Kansas with a real estate investment business managing a portfolio inclusive of shopping centers, apartment complexes and over 100 single-family homes.  After moving to Michigan, she managed a portfolio of condominium associations for about six years before joining our firm.  She currently holds a Michigan real estate license and is a member of Western Wayne County Board of Realtors.

Kathleen enjoys playing golf, gardening, traveling and attending theatre and symphony performances.


Helene E. Haratsaris, CMCA, AMS

Community Association Manager

Helene joined Herriman & Associates, Inc. in January 2006.  

Helene’s experience includes four years of property management encompassing community associations, apartment complexes, and single family homes.  Her experience as a Community Association Manager draws on a finance, community planning and zoning, and engineering background.  She holds the professional designations of Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and Association Management Specialist (AMS).

Helene enjoys playing the piano and solving challenging computer puzzle games.
